नेपाली चलचित्र क्षेत्रका लागि एक ऐतिहासिक कोसेढुङ्गा साबित गर्दै चलचित्र ‘हिमालयन गोल्ड’ले भारतभर प्रदर्शनका लागि भारतको प्रतिष्ठित वितरक ‘एए फिल्म्स ‘सँग सम्झौता गरेको छ। यति ठूलो स्तरको वितरकमार्फत सम्पूर्ण भारतभर एकसाथ प्रदर्शनको अवसर पाउने यो पहिलो नेपाली चलचित्र बनेको छ।
धिरज राजवंशीको निर्देशनमा तयार भएको यो चलचित्र आगामी मङ्सिर ५ गते (नोभेम्बर २०) रिलिज हुँदैछ। मुम्बईमा एए फिल्म्सका संस्थापक तथा भारतका शीर्ष वितरक अनिल थडानीसँग यसको औपचारिक सम्झौता सम्पन्न भएको हो। ‘एए फिल्म्स’ भारतीय सिनेमाकै सबैभन्दा ठूला र प्रख्यात वितरण कम्पनीमध्ये एक हो, जसले ‘दिलवाले दुल्हनिया ले जाएंगे’, ‘बाहुबली’, ‘आरआरआर’, ‘केजिएफ: च्याप्टर २’, ‘पुष्पा’ र ‘कान्तारा’ जस्ता ब्लकबस्टर चलचित्रहरू वितरण गरेको छ। यसै सन्दर्भमा एए फिल्म्सका संस्थापक अनिल थडानीले भाषा र भूगोलभन्दा माथि उठेर उत्कृष्ट कथावस्तुलाई भारतीय दर्शकमाझ पुर्याउने आफ्नो कम्पनीको उद्देश्य रहेको बताएका छन्। भारत रिलिजबारे संक्षिप्त प्रतिक्रिया दिँदै उनले भने, “‘हिमालयन गोल्ड’ एउटा यस्तो चलचित्र हो जसको उत्कृष्ट कथावस्तु सम्पूर्ण भारतीय दर्शकले अनुभव गर्नुपर्छ। यसको प्रतिभाशाली टोलीसँग जोडिन पाउनु हाम्रो लागि गर्वको विषय हो र दर्शकले भाषाको पर्खाल तोडेर यसलाई माया गर्नेछन् भन्ने हाम्रो विश्वास छ।”
यस ऐतिहासिक उपलब्धिबारे बोल्दै निर्देशक धिरज राजवंशीले आफ्नो खुसी व्यक्त गरेका छन्। उनले भने, “यो मेरो लागि मात्र नभई सम्पूर्ण नेपाली चलचित्र उद्योगकै लागि कति ठूलो कुरा हो भनेर म शब्दमा वर्णन गर्न सक्दिनँ। ‘हिमालयन गोल्ड’को सम्भावनालाई विश्वास गरेर भारतभर प्रदर्शनको अवसर दिनुभएकोमा म अनिल थडानी र ‘एए फिल्म्स’प्रति साँच्चै आभारी छु। उहाँहरूको साथले यो चलचित्र अब सबैतिरका दर्शकमाझ पुग्नेछ। हाम्रो उद्योगले निरन्तर खोजिरहेको प्रेरणा नै यही हो र मेरो पहिलो चलचित्रमै यति ठूलो साथ पाउनु मेरो लागि सबै थोक हो।”
यस चलचित्रमा सुनिल थापा, राहुल एन. मुखिया, परीक्षा लिम्बू, सजन थापा र कर्मा शाक्यको मुख्य अभिनय रहेको छ। यो दिग्गज अभिनेता सुनिल थापाको अन्तिम चलचित्र हो। दशकौँसम्म नेपाली चलचित्रमा अमूल्य योगदान दिएर पुस्तौँ पुस्ताका दर्शकको मनमा अमिट छाप छोड्न सफल थापाको यो अन्तिम प्रस्तुतिलाई नेपाल र भारतभरका दर्शकमाझ पुर्याउनु उनको भव्य विरासतप्रतिको एक उत्कृष्ट सम्मान हुने निर्देशक राजवंशीले बताए।
चलचित्र प्रदर्शनमा आउन अब दुई महिनाभन्दा कम समय बाँकी रहँदा यसको बहु प्रतीक्षित ट्रेलर आगामी सोमबार सार्वजनिक गरिँदैछ। निर्माण टिमले सम्पूर्ण दर्शकलाई नेपाल र भारतका सिनेमा घरहरूमा उपस्थित भएर ‘हिमालयन गोल्ड’को हिस्सा बन्न र पर्दामा हिमालयको भव्यताको अवलोकन गर्न विशेष आह्वान गरेको छ।

Anil Thadani’s ‘AA Films’ to Release Nepali Movie ‘Himalayan Gold’ Across India; Director Rajbanshi Says, “This Means Everything to Me”
Kathmandu – Marking a historic milestone for the Nepali film industry, the movie Himalayan Gold has inked a deal with India’s prestigious distributor, AA Films, for a pan-India release. This marks the very first time a Nepali film has secured a nationwide release in India through a distributor of this massive stature.
Directed by Dhiraj Rajbanshi, the film is slated to hit theaters on November 20. The official agreement was signed in Mumbai with Anil Thadani, founder of AA Films and one of India’s top distributors. AA Films is among the biggest and most prominent distribution houses in Indian cinema, celebrated for delivering blockbusters like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Baahubali, RRR, KGF: Chapter 2, Pushpa, and Kantara to the masses.
Speaking on the collaboration, AA Films founder Anil Thadani emphasized his company’s commitment to bringing outstanding stories to Indian audiences, transcending the boundaries of language and geography. Sharing a brief reaction regarding the Indian release, he said, “Himalayan Gold is a film with exceptional content that audiences across India deserve to experience. It is a privilege for us to associate with the talented team behind it, and we are confident that audiences will break language barriers to embrace and love this film.”
Director Dhiraj Rajbanshi expressed his overwhelming joy regarding this landmark achievement. “I cannot even begin to put into words how huge this is, not just for me but for the entire Nepali film industry,” he shared. “I am truly grateful to Mr. Anil Thadani and AA Films for believing in the potential of Himalayan Gold and giving it an all-India release. With their backing, this film will now reach audiences everywhere. This is exactly the kind of motivation our industry is constantly seeking, and to receive this level of support for my debut film honestly means everything to me.”
The film features an ensemble cast including Sunil Thapa, Rahul N. Mukhia, Parikshya Limbu, Sajan Thapa, and Karma Shakya in lead roles. Notably, Himalayan Gold holds profound emotional weight as it serves as the final film of veteran actor Sunil Thapa. Having contributed immensely to Nepali cinema for decades and leaving an indelible mark on generations of viewers, bringing his final performance to audiences across Nepal and India is a fitting tribute to his monumental legacy, Director Rajbanshi noted.
With less than two months remaining until opening day, the highly anticipated trailer is set to drop this coming Monday. The production team has warmly invited audiences to flock to theaters across Nepal and India to become a part of Himalayan Gold and witness the cinematic grandeur of the Himalayas on the big screen.
